Volunteering: It’s What’s in STORE for the Holidays!

During this holiday season, several Students of Retailing Excellence students volunteered at the Peace at Home family shelter in Fayetteville to assist with setting up the shelter’s annual Santa Sack initiative.

Through Santa Sack, shelter clients shop for gifts for their children, while youngsters select presents to give to a parent.

“Santa Sack provides families a wonderful opportunity to give loved ones a gift free of worry or care,” said Synetra Hughes, director of student programs for the Center for Retailing Excellence at the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
