Tom Bohannon, an analytical consultant for SAS Institute, will present to Sam M. Walton College of Business faculty and Ph.D. students about SAS Visual Analytics on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Bohannon will give an overview of SAS Visual Analytics to all faculty and doctoral students from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Willard J. Walker Hall room 331. He will follow that up with a presentation on its advanced features to Department of Information Systems faculty, analytics faculty and information systems doctoral students from 1:30-3 p.m. in room 222 of the J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., Center for Academic Excellence.
Bohannon specializes in applying analytical methods to business problems in industry and higher education. He also has served as a visiting professor in the statistics department at Texas A&M University. Before retiring from Baylor University in April 2007, Bohannon was director and assistant vice president for the Office of Institutional Research and Testing for 20 years.
Bohannon earned a Ph.D. in statistics from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics with a physics minor from McNeese State University.
