ROTC cadets at the UA helped collect more than 700 thank-you letters for veterans who will be honored by a trip to Washington, D.C., to see the World War II Memorial.
Helen Snead, a nursing student and ROTC cadet, has put together a campaign to get letters from people around northwest Arkansas to thank veterans for their years of service to the United States, she said.
