Welcome to University of Arkansas Music Outreach, the U of A’s Community Music Programs.
Our Vision: A community of individuals enriched, educated, and inspired by lifelong musical opportunities.
Collaboration. Learning. Community. These values motivate us to offer high-quality music programs to students of all ages and levels, and we invite you to contribute to the vibrant musical life of Northwest Arkansas (Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Siloam Springs, and Eureka Springs). By providing a quality foundation for students of all ages and abilities to reach their greatest musical potential, our programs nurture the creative spirit for personal growth and satisfaction.
We offer a broad spectrum of musically educational and enriching opportunities that include week-long summer music camps, weekend instrument workshops and festivals, and private lessons.
Children as young as three can participate in Magic Note Music Studio. Other opportunities for children include our renowned University of Arkansas Children’s Choir (UACC), private lessons, and Suzuki Music School.
Junior-high and high school age musicians can develop skills in private lessons, String Coalition, the double reed rally in November and the Arkansas trombone workshop in February. Summer band camps offer a unique experience of intensive learning and living on the U of A campus.
Adults can grow in their appreciation, knowledge, and skill of music through Master Chorale, the Eddie Wade Jones Black Music Festival, and private music lessons. Our music faculty include world-class performers who are also master teachers.
Music Outreach also provides a platform for musical participation and opportunities to share the joy of music with friends and peers in groups large and small through on-going concerts. We are proud that our comprehensive music programs foster an appreciation for the arts, build a musical legacy, and set the stage for each future generation.
Music Outreach programs are not-for-profit, and do not discriminate in admission, education, employment, scholarship or financial aid policies on the basis of race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, or handicap.
